Why is Nitrogen air in your tires better than ordinary air?

Because of it's larger molecular size, nitrogen- a dry non flamible gas migrates through a tire three to four times slower than oxygen. A tire filled with ordinary air will lose 1.5 PSI in less than a month. With nitrogen, this can take up to three months longer.

INCREASED SAFETY 50-70 deaths and 10,000 injuries occur each year due to under-inflated tires. These types of accidents can be avoided with properly filled tires.

Q- I have ordinary air in my tires, how does it work?

A- Murray's will deflate your tires and fill them up with Nitrogen. The machine will only stop after your tires are filled with 98% pure Nitrogen air.

Q- What happens if I need air in my tires and I cannot find a Nitrogen air station?

A- No worries, fill your tires with ordinary air as having properly filled tires is of the utmost importance.  The air will no longer be pure Nitrogen. Just make sure you come back to Murray's for your next fill and we can purify your tires with Nitrogen air.
