Murray Chevrolet will be present at the 2011 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes, aiding in raising awareness and funds for juvenile diabetes research. 

History about the walk:

The 2010 TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes events were a great success in Manitoba. Our events combined for over 2600 participants raising over $220,000 for research into a cure for type 1 diabetes and it’s complications. The four TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes events were a great success with again setting record numbers two years in a row for participation and funds raised.  These four events combined for over 2350 participants raising over $222,500 for research into a cure for type 1 diabetes and it's complications. Through the events and support of the families and corporate community JDRF has funded more than $1.8 million dollars locally in research at St. Boniface Research Centre and HSC and $1 billion in Canada for type 1 research.
